Yeah, you should read the question correctly and it is clockwise for. Default, as TIME and NATURE are clockwise so according to "law of nature and it's natural consequences" (theory of everything published 2002) anything that shows paradox must be considered to be clockwise.

The direction of the arrangement is not stated; so that the arrangement can be clockwise or anti-clockwise and the answer can be "Deepa" and "Lalit" if the direction is anti-clockwise and clockwise respectively.

I)Prakash > Deepa > Pankaj > Mukesh > Priti > Lalit .
II)Prakash > Lalit > Priti > Mukesh > Pankaj > Deeps.
But (I) cannot answer Question 2 but (II) can.
So, I think we should use (II) that can answer all the questions asked and ignore (I).
(B) Deepa is wrong.
(D) Lalit is correct.
