[A]. Mukesh
[B]. Deepa
[C]. Pankaj
[D]. Lalit

Hence, Lalit is sitting right to Prakash.

Sambit said: (Jul 13, 2011)
Why not the sequence like: Pankaj-Deepa-Prakash-Lalit-Priti-Mukesh-Pankaj

Himanshu said: (Jul 26, 2011)
Sambit is right.

Anil Raj said: (Sep 20, 2011)
Yeah sambit is right the seating is possible in two ways.

Sundar said: (Sep 22, 2011)
Read the given direction carefully.

... . Prakash and Mukesh are opposite to each other.....

From this itself we can say " Mukesh is sitting opposite to Prakash."

Jatin said: (Jan 17, 2012)
@sundar yoy need to reed the Sabmit's answer again...according to his answer also prakash and mukesh are sitting in the oppsite..correct me if i am incorrect. Thanks

Tarun said: (Jun 8, 2012)
@Sambit am also agree with u.I didn't find any mistake in ur sequence of arrangement according to the question. So,if we consider ur sequence at the time of real test, then which sequence is consider as correct one...can anyone suggest me.

Abhisek said: (Mar 9, 2014)
Indeed there are two possibilities.

Going Left to Right.

1> Deepa -> Prakash -> Lalit -> Preeti -> Mukesh -> Pankaj.

2> Deepa -> Pankaj -> Mukesh -> Preeti -> Lalit -> Prakash.

Leon said: (May 27, 2014)
1> Prakash-> Deepa-> Pankaj.

2> Mukesh-> Priti-> Lalit.

The above two case each can be arranged in clockwise direction and anti-clockwise direction, this is not cleared in the question, but in either of the case, prakash is sitting opposite to mukesh, as directed in the question, but what about the rest, if not stated, should we arrange them in the clockwise direction or in the anti-clockwise direction. ?

Sankalp said: (Aug 13, 2014)
The sequence can be also written in Clockwise pattern.
But options will not match !

Both clockwise and anti-clockwise are right !

Rishi Kumae Dubey said: (Nov 8, 2014)
They should be mention over there that who is left or right between each other at least one relation is important, admin improve your question level.

Vikram said: (Nov 13, 2014)
I think, it just opposite in sitting in Prakash and Pankaj.

Pooja said: (Nov 18, 2014)
Both the cases are possible, clockwise and anticlockwise. Is there any preference which should we choose?

Priya said: (Dec 3, 2014)
Answer can also be as deepa. Am I right?

Amit said: (Feb 1, 2015)
It is apparent that there are two arrangements possible here. Both satisfying the conditions given.

Now, to the question to which one we should choose if we come across such situation in exam, we have two options:

1. Answer choice will not match with your answer, try to find another arrangement if you have time. Obviously, you will choose to find another answer only if you are damn sure.

2. Leave the question. Because, if the data given is not adequate for you, it is not adequate for other examine too. May be after exam, the authority will take any action to compensate.

Debnath said: (Feb 7, 2015)
The question is not framining properly as multiple seating arrangements possible.

Neha said: (Mar 20, 2015)
Data is insufficient to place them. Left/right should be mentioned for Lalit, Dipa, Pankaj and Prity.

Tabbu said: (Apr 13, 2015)
Not getting clearly. Please tell me why we are not taking Deepa, Pankaj, Mukesh, Priti, Lalit and Prakash this sequence.

Balachandar said: (May 15, 2015)
Ya there are two possibilities for this sum make sure which direction they have sit. Thank you.

Jhansi said: (Jun 9, 2015)

Babli said: (Jun 21, 2015)
Please give me answer properly.

Monika said: (Jun 25, 2015)
Here question is not clear. And 2 possibilities are there. Hence the answer is either Lalit or Deepa.

This question is not clear and here are 2 possibilities occur.

Shekhar said: (Aug 11, 2015)
Yes there are possibilities as said by the guys in the very beginning.

Abdel said: (Aug 19, 2015)
There should be a missed condition which is: "Parkash is to the right of Deepa".

Then the proposed answer would be correct :).

Atul said: (Sep 17, 2015)
Answer is not cleared.

Rahul said: (Sep 19, 2015)
Second way to solve is this sequence Mukesh, Pankaj, Deepa, Prakash, Lalit, Priti.

Mitali said: (Nov 18, 2015)
Yes there are 2 possibilities.

Moumita said: (Dec 11, 2015)
I got my sequence as: Prakash < lalit < preeti < mukesh < Pankaj < Deepa: Clockwise direction.

I got my answer as (A) Deepa, Is this right?

Surya said: (Dec 11, 2015)
If they are facing the center of the circle how come Lalit is the answer. Deepa is the answer.

Phanindhar said: (Dec 11, 2015)
There are 3 possible ways:

1. Prakash-Deepa-Pankaj-Mukesh-Priti-Lalit.

2. Pankaj-Deepa-Prakash-Lalit-Priti-Mukesh.

3. Lalit-Priti-Mukesh-Pankaj-Deepa-Prakash.

Manish said: (Mar 3, 2016)
My answer is also coming as Deepa, if Prakash & Mukesh seating opposite side.

Ghani said: (Mar 24, 2016)
My dear friends. Both sequences are possible. I think these questions are being prepared by half knowledge persons. Most of the questions are the lack of clarity, some spell mistakes. Larry and Harry. They may type L instead of H. Just one letter is enough to commit mistake and eat our precious time. Its is better to prepare from RS AGARWAL reasoning books.

Puneet said: (May 2, 2016)
I agree with you @Ghani.

Both the sequences is possible.

Sky said: (May 24, 2016)
Yes very right, there are two possibilities, starting from Deepa (moving clockwise) :-.

Deepa, Prakash, Lalit, Priti, Mukesh, Pankaj and Deepa again.

Deepa, Pankaj, Mukesh Priti, Lalit, Praksh and Deepa again.

Sumit.Ps94 said: (Jun 4, 2016)

Binita said: (Jul 30, 2016)
I think the answer should be B] Deepa.

Hari said: (Aug 9, 2016)
The answer should be Deepa. Please make the question clear.

Prachi said: (Aug 11, 2016)
Here, you should also give the direction that who is left & right of Priti then only the answer will clear.

Vidyadhar said: (Aug 18, 2016)
Yeah, there are two possible cases how you say Lalit is the right of Prakash, why not Deepa?

Brave said: (Aug 20, 2016)
2 cases are obtained in this question. And answers with both the cases are different. So the answer should be DATA INSUFFICIENT.

Please correct me, if I am wrong.

Mohammed Razvi said: (Aug 21, 2016)
Circle is correct if you do opposite as Sambit said then the second answer will be wrong. Hence the answer which is given here is wrong.

Gaurav said: (Sep 3, 2016)
I think it should be Deepa.

Manoj Jangir said: (Sep 9, 2016)
It can be done in two ways. In options, there should be kept either the name of Deepa or Lalit.

Sharan said: (Sep 14, 2016)
Two possibilities occur here. Please clarify me.

Bibhuti said: (Sep 14, 2016)
I think the data is not sufficient. At least one more condition should be present.

Rishika said: (Oct 7, 2016)
Why not Deepa?

Ramireddy said: (Oct 22, 2016)
The given answer is right but its left.

Rahul said: (Nov 9, 2016)
Yes, I too agree that the answer is Deepa.

Sant said: (Nov 20, 2016)
I think data is inadequate for this question.

Krishna said: (Nov 25, 2016)
As per my view, two sequence is possible here.

Asimkant said: (Dec 6, 2016)
Two mirror solutions are possible and question lacks proper description to confine which of them is correct.

1. Deepa-Pankaj-Mukesh-Priti-Lalit-Prakash.
2. Deepa-Prakash-Lalit-Priti-Mukesh-Pankaj.

Akshay said: (Dec 7, 2016)
Answer will be the Deepa also.

Ghana Boy said: (Dec 20, 2016)
Sure, two possible arrangements are available:

I)Prakash > Deepa > Pankaj > Mukesh > Priti > Lalit .

II)Prakash > Lalit > Priti > Mukesh > Pankaj > Deeps.

But (I) cannot answer Question 2 but (II) can.

So, I think we should use (II) that can answer all the questions asked and ignore (I).

(B) Deepa is wrong.
(D) Lalit is correct.

Harimohan said: (Dec 21, 2016)
Yes, Deepa should be the answer.

Dharmendra said: (Jan 14, 2017)
The correct option should be Cannot determined.

Because they are two possible arrangement.

Honey said: (Apr 6, 2017)
I guess, Deeps is right one.

Jvs Jp said: (Apr 24, 2017)
All are facing inside the circle so the answer is Lalit only.

Rashpal said: (May 7, 2017)
Deepa and Lalit both are correct.

The correct sequence is;

Pankaj. Deepa. Prakash. Lalit. Preeti. Mukesh.

Pooja said: (Jun 8, 2017)
According to me, Deepa and Lalit both are correct.

Yeshiwas said: (Jun 9, 2017)
The direction of the arrangement is not stated; so that the arrangement can be clockwise or anti-clockwise and the answer can be "Deepa" and "Lalit" if the direction is anti-clockwise and clockwise respectively.

Science Geek said: (Jun 22, 2017)

Yeah, you should read the question correctly and it is clockwise for. Default, as TIME and NATURE are clockwise so according to "law of nature and it's natural consequences" (theory of everything published 2002) anything that shows paradox must be considered to be clockwise.

Himani said: (Jun 23, 2017)
It can also be prakash-lalit-priti-mukesh-pankaj-deepa-prakash.

Vijay said: (Jul 29, 2017)
There is two possibility. Deepa may be right or left prakash. So please give correct one more statement about depa or any other one.

Aishu said: (Aug 20, 2017)
I can't understand this.

Rohit said: (Aug 27, 2017)
It is asked who is sitting right to Pankaj if the answer is Mukesh then it not there in option so 1st possibility is wrong.

Saurabhkumar Singh said: (Aug 30, 2017)
Given answer is right, see.

"facing the centre of the circle".

This defines everything.

So answer "D" is correct.

Rituja Vatni said: (Sep 2, 2017)
Yes, right @Saurabhkumar.

It is given that they are facing the centre of the circle. So Lalit is the right answer.

Shrikant said: (Sep 10, 2017)
@Rituja and @Saurabhkumar.

Ven facing the centre of the circle the answer will be also as"Deepa".

The order is Prakash-Deepa-Pankaj-Mukesh-Priti-Lalit :Keep Praksh and Mukesh are opposite to each other.

Nancy Garg said: (Oct 1, 2017)
I think it's Deepa not Lalit.

Gagan said: (Oct 4, 2017)
Yes, Sambit is right.

Shreyansh said: (Oct 26, 2017)
The correct answer is Lalit because in the question it is given that they all are facing towards center so according to Prakash Lalit is sitting right to Prakash.

Bikash Nayak said: (Dec 1, 2017)
Why not Deepa?

Niya said: (Dec 9, 2017)
Yes, I agree @Deepa.

Niya said: (Dec 9, 2017)
Yes, it is Lalit because when Prakash is facing in the center his right is Lalit.

Niya said: (Dec 9, 2017)
Yes, you are right @Shreyansh.

Popo said: (Dec 28, 2017)
Lalit is right. I agree with it.

Because two sequences are possible.

Yamini said: (Jul 19, 2018)
Both answers are possible there are 2 possible ways Deepa and Lalit.

Nitu Kumari said: (Jul 21, 2018)
Here, it is not mentioned that immediate right so we can't determine the answer.

John said: (Aug 1, 2018)
There are two possible arrangments. So either Deepa or Lalit both are correct answers.

Divya Reddy said: (Aug 1, 2018)

Parikshit K said: (Nov 10, 2018)
Yes, I agree with @Priya. I think the answer will be Deepa.

Hawkeye said: (Nov 17, 2018)
Arrange the persons as in the given order first given person should be given first arrangement in the sequence as deepa is between prakash and pankaj and then start arranging the position of mukesh and then priti and lalit the would be then lalit is right of prakash.

Sneha Das said: (Apr 30, 2019)
If we consider the positions one thing is clear.

From the observer's point of view, Deepa is on Prakash's left and Lalit to his right but if we consider from the seated person's point of view 2 case scenarios are possible.

Deepa on right and Lalit on left (when all are facing towards the circle's centre).

Deepa on left and Lalit on right. (When all face away from the centre, a 180° turn).

But the question mandates that they are facing the centre. It is s therefore, safe to assume that Deepa is to the right and Lalit to the left of Prakash.

Anu said: (May 25, 2019)
The answer is Lalit, because everyone is facing to the centre and thus Lalit is at Prakash's right. The main sentence here is facing towards the centre, which has been forgotten as the questions move ahead.

Pramodini said: (Jun 20, 2019)
Prakash ->Deepa->Pankaj->Mukesh->Priti->Lalit.

According to me, Deepa is the correct answer.

Ripan said: (Aug 31, 2019)
Prakash-> Deepa->Pankaj-> Mukesh->Priti->Lalit->Prakash.

According to me, this sequence satisfies all the given statement, so answer might be Deepa.

Vikashini said: (Oct 20, 2019)
2 ways of arrangements are possible so this is not a clear question.

Sammed Neje said: (Nov 19, 2019)
In such cases we have to use clockwise direction.

Akash said: (Dec 11, 2019)
There are two possibilities of answer.

Sathisha said: (Jan 11, 2020)
According to me, this sequence satisfies all the given statement, so the answer might be Deepa. I was thinking the same because the right side is clockwise then you choose anti-clockwise.

Nilesh said: (Feb 27, 2020)
There must one more condition stating the position of Deepa. Whether left or right to Prakash.

Pradip said: (May 5, 2020)
According to me, the answer must be Deepa. When we started on the anticlockwise direction.

Chandrakant Jadhav said: (Aug 1, 2020)
There are two ways matching with the above question.

Pankaj-> Deepa-> Prakash-> Lalit-> Priti-> Mukesh.

Prakash-> Deepa-> Pankaj-> Mukesh-> Preeti-> Lalit.

Sai said: (Aug 27, 2020)
I think Deepa is the correct answer.

Princy Pradip said: (Mar 31, 2021)
I think there are two ways and I am getting Deepa as answer. I have placed Mukesh on the top. So from top to Right, the order is Mukesh->Pankaj-/>Deepa->Prakash->Lalit->Priti.

Shaif said: (Apr 6, 2021)
Yes, right, Thanks @Sambit.

Neela Satya Sai said: (Jun 27, 2021)

Shikha said: (Aug 2, 2021)

Moparthi Teja said: (Aug 16, 2021)
According to me, Pankaj sits right to the Mukesh.

Kartik said: (Sep 17, 2021)
Actually, the answer D is correct. As questions say they all are facing the centre. So, from Prakash's perspective, Lait is situated in his right.
