There should be a missed condition which is: "Parkash is to the right of Deepa".
Then the proposed answer would be correct :).

There are 3 possible ways:
1. Prakash-Deepa-Pankaj-Mukesh-Priti-Lalit.
2. Pankaj-Deepa-Prakash-Lalit-Priti-Mukesh.
3. Lalit-Priti-Mukesh-Pankaj-Deepa-Prakash.

2. Pankaj-Deepa-Prakash-Lalit-Priti-Mukesh.
3. Lalit-Priti-Mukesh-Pankaj-Deepa-Prakash.

My dear friends. Both sequences are possible. I think these questions are being prepared by half knowledge persons. Most of the questions are the lack of clarity, some spell mistakes. Larry and Harry. They may type L instead of H. Just one letter is enough to commit mistake and eat our precious time. Its is better to prepare from RS AGARWAL reasoning books.
