If the direction is not mention in the question we take always they are facing NORTH side.
C is next to D means either left are right.
So, the order is E B D C A.
C is next to D means either left are right.
So, the order is E B D C A.

1. A is sitting next to B. so,
A B
2. C is sitting next to D. so,
C D
3. D is not sitting with E, who is on the left end of the bench. so,
E _ _ _ _
4. C is on the second position from the right. so,
E _ _ C _
5. A is to the right of B and E. A and C are sitting together.
E B A C D
Because A should be placed to the left of C so that it will be right of E. Also it should be to the right of B, so place B next to E. Now A and C will be sitting together. The only place left will be towards the right end, there you place D.
6. So, A is sitting between B and C.
7. And the answer is option B.
I Hope this could help you all.
A B

C D or D C doesn't matter.
