The right answer is Father as the only son of her mother means he himself and the boy is his son so the Suresh is the father of that answer.

Agree, Father is the right answer.

I think That photograph is himself.

I think Brother is the correct answer.

If it is the only son of Suresh's mother. So, it is Suresh Himself, not his father.

Mother had only son (Suresh) now Suresh is pointing towards his son's photograph and exclaiming with a statement ---> the boy is the son of the only son (Suresh) of my mother in other words mother is the parent of only son (Suresh) who has a son/boy in the photograph.

In this type of questions, first, you need to find the word anywhere in the sentence ( is/as/was) and then at the palace of is/as/ was you put one equal symbol(=).
