Maternal uncle is the Correct answer. Please understand the last sentence carefully. How is Bajpai related to the man in the photograph It means the father of my brother. → This refers to Bajpai's father.
"The only daughter of the father of my brother" → This means Bajpai's sister.
"He is the son of the only daughter" → This means the boy in the photograph is Bajpai's sister's son. What is Bajpai's relationship with his sister's son? Maternal uncle.

Since the gender of Bajpai is not defined, we can not get the relation of Bajpai with respect to the person shown in the photograph. Bajpai might be the only daughter of her brother's father, in this case, she will be the mother of the person shown in the photograph. If Bajpai is male then only he will become the uncle of the person shown in the photograph. Right?
Please correct me if my logic is wrong.

Here we have to check this condition:
In the question-----> father has only daughter.
-----> Bajpai is Brother.
And also check this condition, father can have another Son but not Daughter.
i.e Bajpai can have a brother.
Then, Bajpai is Saying my Brother's Father has only Daughter have a Son.
i.e answer is Maternal Uncle.

While solving blood relations there are 2/3 basic rules and one of them is you can't decide the gender based on a name unless given to you.
For eg- "aman" can either be a boy or a girl, we don't have to relate the name to the gender.
Therefore Bajpai here cannot be maternal uncle as his gender is not specified.

No @Sudo actually they were asking "how Bajpai is related to the man"? so there are specifically asking the relationship of Bajpai with the man, so the right answer is maternal uncle itself. In case they asked question like "How the man is related to Bajpai?" then the answer will be nephew.

Here, the question says;
"How Bajpai is related to the man in the photograph?"
(Hence ans is: Bajpai is the maternal uncle of the boy).
But if Q was "How is the man in the photograph related to Bajpai?"
(In this case, answer would have been--> nephew).

Every one who thinks that answer is nephew, they are wrong because, If you all observe the final part of the question. They have asked that how Bajpai is related to the man rather than how man is related to Bajpai.
So finally Bajpai is related as maternal uncle to the man.
So finally Bajpai is related as maternal uncle to the man.

Those who are thinking the correct answer is nephew please read the que correctly. It clearly says that.
How is Bajpai related to the man in the photograph?
So, you must answer from the perspective of the person in the photo.
Then Bajpai is his maternal uncle.

According to me, “The father of my brother” refers to Bajpai’s father.
“The only daughter of the father of my brother” refers to Bajpai’s sister.
Therefore, the man in the photograph is Bajpai’s nephew (son of Bajpai’s sister).
