If it's asked,

How man related to Bajpai is -> nephew.

And How Bajpai related to man -> maternal uncle

According to me, “The father of my brother” refers to Bajpai’s father.
“The only daughter of the father of my brother” refers to Bajpai’s sister.
Therefore, the man in the photograph is Bajpai’s nephew (son of Bajpai’s sister).

While solving blood relations there are 2/3 basic rules and one of them is you can't decide the gender based on a name unless given to you.

For eg- "aman" can either be a boy or a girl, we don't have to relate the name to the gender.

Therefore Bajpai here cannot be maternal uncle as his gender is not specified.

According to the answer, it should be how man is related to the Bajpai instead of how Bajpai is related to the man.

I think the Correct answer is nephew.

How to know Bajpai is male? Here it's not mentioned right?

Bajpai is either male or female.

According to me, it's clearly nephew.

The question clearly states " the only daughter" which means that Bajpai can only be a Male rather than a female.

So, he can only be a Maternal Uncle. I hope this helps.

Maternal uncle is the Correct answer. Please understand the last sentence carefully. How is Bajpai related to the man in the photograph It means the father of my brother. → This refers to Bajpai's father.

"The only daughter of the father of my brother" → This means Bajpai's sister.

"He is the son of the only daughter" → This means the boy in the photograph is Bajpai's sister's son. What is Bajpai's relationship with his sister's son? Maternal uncle.

Nephew should be the answer.

I think the answer is "none of these", because Bajpai's gender is not given.
Bajpai's related to man--> not known (maternal uncle if Bajpai is male).
Man related to Bajpai. --> nephew (Bajpai's gender is not required for this).
