Here gender of Bajpai is not define, so there are two case in case 1 if Bajpai is female then photograph man is the son of Bajpai in case 2 if Bajpai is male then photograph man is son of Bajpai's sister.

The question clearly states " the only daughter" which means that Bajpai can only be a Male rather than a female.

Maternal relation comes into picture only if the relation is from mother side right? if so then the answer was wrong, correct answer should be father or grand father.
