I think there should be "we witnessed for a collision".

The question is asked to identify error in any one of the options whether it a or b or c or d.
So if you want to keep of instead of between you have to keep C as answer then you can't change word collusion.
But the total meaning was depended on the word collusion so we have to change it as a collision so B is the answer.

Although the spelling of collusion is incorrect but the word collision itself means an accident between two vehicles, than it should be "on the busy ring road we witnessed a collision of a truck and an auto".

The collision happens between particular truck and auto, I mean they are specific then why can't we use THE truck.

I think it is correct to say collision instead of collision because the meaning of both is different.

And in reference to option C both are correct. Between can be replaced by of to be more accurate, but between is also correct. Am I right?

Its an spell error or does it had been done knowingly.
Because its an spell error I didn't recognized it as in hurry I am ready it as collision itself.

@Prince, they became witness after incident, so they said we witnessed. And according to me, we have to use some standard words or high level words, not a local & simple words.
@Shrija, no doubt about a truck & an auto, bec they do not know whose truck, use 'a' & an auto, it starts with vowel. So 'an' used.
Cleared? Any mistakes in above, clear it?
