Option A would be wrong. "He's not coming tomorrow". Tomorrow is future tense and isn't coming is present continuous then how could we club both? It would be "He won't come/won't be coming tomorrow".

@Vertika.

"a severe headache" uses 'severe' as a supporting word but in the case of using "a pain" we don't find any such supporting word so I think its the wrong usage here.

Option C. "and he has to see a doctor".

"Pain" can be both "countable" and "uncountable". If you are referring to a "specific pain" then the "countable form" is more likely.

"a pain " is a wrong usage. And one should 'consult' a doctor, but not to see a doctor.

Example: Chest PAIN, you should CONSULT a doctor.

I feel both b and c are wrong.
b- should be " as he is having a chest pain"
c- should be " has to consult a doctor"

Raghavendra said:   1 decade ago
B should be the answer as there is only one type of pain and as it is mentioned chest pain so no need of writing 'the' before chest pain.

What is exact answer and they don't even mention correct answer. They just paste as it is in option as answer. Suggest me exact answer.

Option C can only be that is given as its answer.

Rest all is correct. "a pain" is correct.

For eg. I am having "a" severe headache.

"a pain: is wrong usage. It should be "pain in the chest". I dont think, we can use an article(a, an, the) with pain.

I think that in option B at the place of "as" we have to use "because".

Because he is having a pain in the chest.

Am I correct?
