Here I feel that "on" should come on the second sentence instead of "of".

More comes with than like "more-than" sentence should be,

He has a scheme of his own which he thinks more preferable 'than' that of any other person.

The comparative idea is already given by 'preferable'. Then 'more' becomes unnecessary.

'Is' is missing at starting of option c that's why the correct answer is option c.

Preferable is always followed by "THAN".
