If "Being the eldest son" is right, then the person that is mentioned after that must be the son not "his father".
For example: Being tired, I decide to take a rest.

When son is already being mentioned above, implies that is a male.

According to me, it should be, "He being the elder son, his father expects him to take care of several things besides his regular studies".

I think that in option A "he" should be replaced by "Him".
