I don't find any error in this sentence. Explanation has totally changed the meaning.

Yes, the meaning has been changed after this explaination. But its original meaning is absurd. A young child cannot look after his aunt.

It only says when he was young which doesn't really mean a child. I think the sentence has no error as such.

But vertika I think here young means not adult one, so he needs to be looked after by his aunt.

There is no error as such so answer should be D. AND vertika I dnt see anything absurd if a young child looks after his aunt what if his aunt is physically challenged. Its not clearly mentioned how young the child was.

But here we discussed about the boy who is small so we can say that he was looked by after by his aunt.

The sentence has no error as such. Logically it might ring some bells, but grammatically it is correct. So option D should be the answer.

"As we are to find out whether there is any grammatical error in it. " We are to find grammatical error, not the syntactical error. So sentence is correct.

Since the grammatical formation of the sentence is ambiguous, I think Option D should have been the answer. It really makes sense when you combine options A, B and C. It could be that if his parents were around, he wouldn't have taken care of his aunt.

The answer should be c because 'she had no child' seems to be correct.
