I think 'he was looking for' is more correct than 'he was looked after' correct sentence.

I think 'he was looked after his aunt' is right which makes the sentence in passive voice talking about someone (the person who looked him).

He can also "look after" his aunt at his younger age too. So I think there's nothing incorrect in the sentence.
