Option A is wrong because "There is no need of adding "about" before "discuss".

I think option C is also wrong because the usual expression is "I found it very easy to work out".

I agree with anyone why says that 'so' isn't supposed to the following by 'thoroughly'. tho I believe 'about' can be used but it's not a must.

Option C is correct English.

Discuss is an intransitive verb, so it does not need a preposition such as about.
The use of so is ok here.
'discuss' 'reach' and 'order' are not followed by prepositions.

I agree that it is not needed to use "so" before "thoroughly"... why is it so that should not use "about" when "discuss" comes?

I think A is the correct answer because about is use to describe a wide correlated problem not problem for exam. 2nd is so decide the effort we have made to discuss.

As per rules, you can write "we have a discussion about the matter", but you cannot write "we discussed about the matter". Simply write we "discuss the matter".

Hi all option there is no error in option C as there is an adverb clause of result that's why so is correct here for example.

He worked so hard that he passed.

"about" is use before any topic so it is in right place but thoroughly @ means complete but not deeply.

So there no need to write "so".

According to Grammatical rule,if any thing is unknown in discussion, then we use 'about' ,in 2nd case if our problem is already known then we do not 'about'.

In grammar, remember this discusses as a verb does not take preposition "about" and for your further reference please see oxford advanced learner's.
