No need of using "so" in that statement because "thoroughly" the word itself defines entirely.

"We discussed about the problem so thoroughly". In this sentence, we don't need to say "so".

A is correct, talking about option C, it even start with lowercase which is also an error.

The word "thoroughly" is complete in itself that there is no use of writing "so" with it.

After discuss and describe about should not be used. After called as should not be used.

A is correct. i.e, it has a grammatical mistake. So is not needed infront of thoroughly.

Answer is A because Discuss/describe/illustrate is never followed by "About".
