The sentence seems correct to me though the use of because is silly.

Even it can be ram is absent to his duty.

Using 'because' after 'reason' is a redundancy error. Hence the correct sentence would be "the reason ram is absent from his duties is that he is unwell".

I think D is the answer as it can be said that.
The reason ram is absent from his duty.
Is because he is unwell.
Hence D is correct.
Well I can be wrong if so please tell me whats the correct explanation.
The reason ram is absent from his duty.
Is because he is unwell.
Hence D is correct.
Well I can be wrong if so please tell me whats the correct explanation.

The reason is never followed by because. Its a thumb rule. 'that' should be used in place of because.

There are two mistakes in this question firstly it should be 'the reason why ram' and further 'that' should come instead of'because' in sentence C.

It can also be "The reason Ram is absent from his duty is that he is unwell".

I think we can replace "because", in option C, by "that" to correct the statement.
