Yeah, adjectives are being used in form of the noun and in such a case the definite article is used before the noun.

Meek and humble are adjectives which describe the group of class and in such case we use the before the adjectives.

Because contrast is always followed by prefix "the".

Why you are using "the" before meek and the humble. It is consonants but why you use that Definite article here.

Meekness, humbleness are particular to the one concerned and hence, should be addressed with the article "the".

Meek and humble are adjectives and here noun is understood hence we are using the before meek and humble.
