@All.

Well in my opinion remember and a reminder both do have the same meaning, but it is performed by various form. Taking an example. " mom please remind me to take my phone" here the person is looking for the help of his mother to remind him to take his phone.

Now, let's look for an another example "i still remember your birthday". Here the person itself is using his memory power to remember a birth date of his friend.

So from here we can understand that remember and reminder both have the same meaning but it is performed by various means.

Hope this helped you guys.

Thank you.

REMEMBER and REMIND are the verbs related to MEMORY.

REMEMBER - Is an INTERNAL process which is done by the person himself and nobody can help him to memorize if he wishes not to memorize anything happened. Only the person himself can read his own brain and let the things come out of his mind. It is totally personal.

{--EX:-I still remember that journey.}

REMIND - Is an EXTERNAL process. People can help other to memorize the things happened. When people/others make someone memorize about any incident/thing happened, there will be REMIND in action. It is exactly contrast to REMEMBER.

{--EX:-Please, remind me to go to temple on Saturday as I am absent minded.}
