I think B is incorrect because A part sentence has to end.

And the correct sentence should be Troy was taken by Greeks and this formed the basis of a story which has become famous.

There is two errors in the sentence in part A, the error is mentioned, and in Part C, sub+has+v3 is used. Due to this became is used in place of become.

It should be either "it became famous" or "it had become famous" because the whole sentence is in past tense.

It defines particular story. So 'a story' should not be here. Instead of that 'the story' should be replaced.

Ya, it still famous, so has become should be used.

Became famous tells that once upon a time it was famous.

@Asp is right : Greeks refers to a specific family/species that's why "The" should be used before Greeks.

I have a doubt that after has the verb should be in v3. So in C "which has became famous".

The Greeks refers to native of Greece. So to make them certain it is used.
