For every person there will be a initial before or after their names, names are so common but the initials they have may not be common. So, we can easily recognize a person with their initials.

Friends initials are nothing but surnames we use before our names.
EX: MD. Abbas OR Mohammed Abbas, here the initial is Mohammed.

Initials means, for example, we call Mahendra Sing Dhoni as M.S.Dhoni. Here M.S.Dhoni is an initial for his name.
