Well I will give a try explaining this.
Continuous verbs are usually physical actions which can be seen doing.
For ex: I eat dinner. (It means it is a usual thing).
I am eating dinner now. (It is referring something peculiar).
Non Continuous verbs are opposite to the one above mentioned. Basically emotions, possessions etc.
For ex: He wants a drink. (Right).
He is wanting a drink. (Wrong).
Ram loves Ramesh. (Gay Love Right).
Ram is loving Ramesh. (Wrong).
Mixed Verbs behave both like continuous and non continuous verbs. As in the first example, where I have mentioned about the 'EAT', we can well understand.
Other example: 'appear' verb:appears-- seems.
Appearing-- coming or giving a performance.
Same goes for tolerate and tolerating.
'Tolerate' is just an idea or a feeling. 'Tolerating' is action.
"The man is important " right? Why will he tolerate? So HE is not tolerating.
Hope I clear the doubt.

The answer can be picked out easily if we go through elimination process. If we observe the sentence it is not having any sub-ordinate or co-ordinate conjunctions. So it is a simple sentence. You can also see too in the sentence so it should be followed by to. And we can't express in continuous form because it is a declarative sentence which comes under simple present tense. So, to tolerate will be the right choice.

The given sentence is in present tense so we can't use present participle verb form. And moreover tolerate is an base form of verb tolerate and to make it sense we have to use (to) infinitive.
Ex;
He wants drink milk (doesnt make any sense).
He wants to drink milk (to+verb).
Hope it is clear.

He wants to drink milk (to+verb).

Whenever we had a sentence interms of ""too"".
So there must be a word "to" sentence concluding &&&.
Whatever d verb/adj/. Is followed by "too" then "to " will also follow d same type (v/adj).

Glad in your sentence "opening of a new branches" a is phrase head so accordingly singular noun will be used. Correct form would be as:
Opening of a new branch.
Opening of a new branch.

Conditions:
too --- to
not only --- but also
If a sentence has 'not only' then definitely it will have 'but also'.
Same as too --- to.

Simple present is used to express general truth/ habitual action.
Simple continuous for ongoing action. Therefore SPT is obvious choice

too.......to.
And after a preposition to if any verb presents we do not use ing form of the verb so the right answer is to tolerate.

Friends always remember anywhere in sentence you have to use simple present tense form of verb like to buy, to insert, to give etc.

Here, "too" is used so after a verb "to" should be used. And we have to remove the "ing" because we are using "too" and "to".
