A dice is numbered from 1 to 6 in different ways.

If 2 is opposite to 3 and adjacent to 4 and 6, then which of the following statements is necessarily true?

1 is opposite to 5
4 is opposite to 6
4 is adjacent to 2 and 6
1 is adjacent to 2 and 3
Answer: Option
Explanation:
If 2 is opposite to 3, then 1 cannot lie opposite to either of the two numbers - 2 or 3. Hence, 1 is necessarily adjacent to both 2 and 3.

What is wrong with option C?

4 is adjacent to 6, as given and 4 cannot be opposite to 2 as 3 is opposite to 2.

According to me, the answer should be option C.

I don't think it is C because it said 4 is opposite to 6 so it cannot be adjacent to it. Isn't A an option though?

Option C should be the right answer.

Option D is the correct answer.

2 is opposite to 3 and adjacent to 4 and 6.

So, its doesn't mean that 4 and 6 are adjacent to each other. It could be 4 and 6 is opposite to each other.

So, the correct answer is D.
