What is the pinion cutter?

The opinion gear must be harder than its rack gear, it's required harder cutter for machining. But when we want to machine an internal gears it's (rack gear), so just shaping it with rack cutter.

Its vertical shaper machine which tool reciprocates top to bottom containing pinion cutter as a tool while the workpiece ie., internal gear is set to cut internal gear.

It is shaping with pinion and by broaching tool also.

I think it could be done by broaching.

We can produce by milling also.
