In Diesel Engine only two valve Fuel injector.

As per R.S. KHURMI, Diesel engines have three valves i.e. Inlet valve, exhaust valve, and fuel injector valve.

But I am also not satisfied for this.

We can consider the inlet and outlet as a valve but fuel injector as a port.

I think FI cannot be termed as valve because diesel engine has multi point injection system for fine atomization in order to get nearly homogeneous mixture inside cylinder. This can be done through very small ports and also through number of ports at different locations. So, diesel engines have two valves.

Any modifications are welcomed.

Fuel inject (spray) by a nozzle in combustion chamber.

Inlet valve for air intake & exhaust valve for exhaust valve. Therefore we find two valve & one injector in a diesel engine.

In diesel engine there are only two valve per cylinder.

Fuel Injector is not a valve.

Fuel inject (spray) by a nozzle in cylinder not by valve. So there is two valve-inlet & exhaust.

Diesel engine have 3 valve sometimes we called valve to fuel injector. It is works likes valve mechanism.
