Given angle at B is 60 and weight W is acting downwards which experiences tension. So a\c to Lami formula W/sin60 gives 2W/root3 on simplification.

By lami theorem, w/sin60 = BC/sin90.
Therefore BC= 2W/ROOT3.
Therefore BC= 2W/ROOT3.
