By lami theorem, w/sin60 = BC/sin90.
Therefore BC= 2W/ROOT3.
Therefore BC= 2W/ROOT3.

Given angle at B is 60 and weight W is acting downwards which experiences tension. So a\c to Lami formula W/sin60 gives 2W/root3 on simplification.

See here When you resolve force at point B,
then you get,
IF we get the force at away from B.
x=BC cos60=0.
y=BC sin60-w=0.
BC=2*W/3.
HERE YOU GET YOUR ANSWER TENSILE.
then you get,
