Statements: The XYZ Medical College has started a cell which will conduct counselling workshops in the field of stress management to patients and general public.

  1. The hospital has needed resources to start such activity.
  2. Patients and general public feel a need to have such cell in the hospital.

Explanation:
Since the hospital has started the activity, it must have been well-equipped for the same. So, I follows. Also, any new activity is started keeping in mind the need for it. So, II also follows.

The answer should be (d).

Firstly, (A) is an assumption. Assuming that they have the resources, they're starting the workshop. Secondly, (b) can't be concluded because it's not necessary that the workshop was hosted on the suggestion of the people.

It's not mentioned about resources to set up such cells whether in a medical college or hospital, Then how can we deduce something out of the statement? explain please.

There is not mentioned about the hospital the question is wrong.

There is no mention about the equipments in the statement. There might be other reasons for not having the cell earlier and then starting it. So, B should be correct.
