I conclusion is, no doubt, a fact but in no way mentioned in the statement. Only II follows.

"Death keeps no calender" means death can come at any time, but need not be compulsory.

Death is inevitable. Even if the day is uncertain yet, it is certain that death will come.

I is individually correct but never in the context of the given statement whereas II is consistent. I is no way related. Only II follows.
