Statement: Should all the annual examinations up to Std. V be abolished?
Arguments:
- Yes. The young students should not be burdened with such examinations which hampers their natural growth.
- No. The students will not study seriously as they will get automatic promotion to the next class and this will affect them in future.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Clearly, neither the students can be burdened with studies at such a tender age, nor can they be left free to take studies casually, as this shall weaken their basic foundation. So, both the arguments follow.

Option C should be correct because they are opposite to each other. Either conduction of exams is good or bad.

Annual Examinations upto class 5 is not a burden!
B should be the answer.
B should be the answer.

I don't believe that Statement 1 follows since it is fairly vague in stating that natural growth will be hampered (which is unjustified and clearly did not hamper our natural growth when we were younger). Statement 2 is still strong as it justifies itself by giving a good reason.

There should be examinations (may be a mix of oral and written) at least from class-1 because at that stage of life, the child would get into the habit of studying.
After Class-5, it will be very difficult for the child to adjust with examination curriculum and many of the students may lag behind.

I think option b is correct because no child will study till 5th std. And if this happens he/she would face problems in future.
