I also consider both points are valid, its like not throwing garbage in one of my room while throwing it in the other, pollution is hazardous both in lower and upper atmosphere.

Yes, I too think the answer is C because even if the pollution is expelled up to the stratosphere it can cause acid rains which are eventually harmful to plant and animal lives.

My opinion is also same, I didn't hope option 'A' was right, because as well as air also getting polluted and leads to green house effect, so I go with option 'C'.

We can't go with both statements here. I know both statement are strong but both statement is contradictory to each other. So in my opinion C is correct option.

It is either of the two arguments.

Pollution in the upper atmosphere is equally hazardous.

According to me, the right answer is Option (C).

I think the given option A is right answer because the pollution at ground level causes more effect to living things than upper pollution.

The answer is C because the chimney is also polluted upper atmosphere which directly impacted on the ozone layer.

I consider both to be strong. Even if it was in the upper atmosphere it still poses a threat to humans.

If we operate chimney in upper atmosphere leads to holes in ozone layer as well as harmful for birds.

As far as I think, pollution at the ground or in the atmosphere is hazardous.

So, it is Option E.
