Directions to Solve
In each of the following questions, two statements are given followed by three or four conclusions numbered I, II, III and IV. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from the commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.
5.
Statements: Some clothes are marbles. Some marbles are bags.
Conclusions:
- No cloth is a bag.
- All marbles are bags.
- Some bags are clothes.
- No marble is a cloth.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Since both the premises are particular, no definite conclusion follows. However, I and III involve only the extreme terms and form a complementary pair. Thus, either I or III follows.

Take a basket containing only apples.
(1) No apple is rotten.
(2) Some rotten is apple.
It _has to be_ either (1) or either (2), understand?
Here, 'some' qualifies as at least one [quantity].

The First statement that Some clothes are marbles and conclusion IV No marble is a cloth are contradicting each other. Option C has to be the answer. Correct me if I am wrong.

The answer is C.
NO clear relationship of the bag is given. So statements 1, 2, 3 are not reliable and option 4 is definitely false.
