These seem to be effects of independent causes. Am I right?

I feel they are effects of independent causes.

Price escalation is when an item has a different price in a different market or location. There are many causes of this but largely it comes down to supply chain variations such as differing shipping costs, paid tariffs or a wide range of distribution channels.

Option E should be correct. These are "effects "of independent causes.

I feel that the answer is option E, both the statements are about the same cause "fees".

For the first statement we cannot state that the cause was the escalation in price hike, it could be low tuition fees from the students as well. Whereas the second statement states the escalation of price rates.

Clearly, we can see that both statements show the effect from a cause.

Therefore, I think the correct option should be - D.

Can't it be option E?

Where for a common cause (financial problem) there are two different effect?

One is increasing the fees another one is remaining as it was.

The cause for both the actions is same that is increase in the price escalation. So I think E is a better option.

I can't recognize option c ever. In my view again these are effects. Can anybody explain how these are causes and how the answer is c?

Independent causes never take place it's always the independent effects. So, the question like this can never have an answer of independent causes.

Hi Can anybody explain how can we differentaiate cause and effect in this case? Both the statement can be seen as effects of some independent cause also ?
