The difference between hard work and smart work is how much time you spend completing tasks. Hard work tends to be when someone spends a great amount of time completing many things. However, smart work is when they spend less time and instead focus on completing the right things.

Work a donkey does is hard work where as work done by hose is smart enough i.e. working for anything without applying your brain and just do it physically is mere a hard work and can get nothing out of it. Instead of the work done with smartness by simply understanding the logic and the manner its being done before and can be done is the straight way of smart work.
