Hard work is basically when extra efforts are put into achieving something. But on the other hand, smart work is accomplishing something by tackling things intelligently and a bit of effort.

Smart work proves to be much more efficient, especially in today's context when the world is moving faster than ever.

Hard work implies achieving something using some extra efforts. It may be long time taking process.

Smart work implies achieving the same task optimistically using intelligence.

Smart work is a forward stage to hard work and it enhances your skills sharply.

Nowadays smart work candidates are few but it is the backbone of your career.

Well, as we considered "there are no shortcuts to get success".

So, the first need is to do hard work (put extra efforts) and get deep knowledge & experience and then try to stable with doing smart work (less effort with intelligence).

My view is that.

If we apply only physical power to achieve our goal can say hard work but if we apply both both physical and mental power to achieve a goal can say smart work.

For example.

If our goal is to cut a tree but if we cut a branch of a tree then it is said to be hard work but if we cut directly the base of the tree can say smart work.

Smart work saves a lot of time rather than hard work.

Sir, I would like to give an example- consider if X amount of work is done in particular time then the same amount of work could be achieved in less time with the help of some ideas or modification in process. Which will not only reduces the time and load but also increase s efficiency? And that is the main difference between both.
