In my opinion, hard work is when an employee invests all his time and energy to complete one particular work and on the other hand, smart work is when an employee completes his work without much effort and energy.

Hard work includes the straightforward method of doing some tasks, which can require more time and more energy.
Smart Work includes alternative ways of doing the same task more efficiently with the same accuracy.

Hardwork gives 100% result without failure as comparing the smart work. So many persons and leaders are doing hardwork and they get the success. Hardwork will never fail than smart work. Hardwork will never fail.

If you took any work to do. And you did that within the time as well as accuracy this is hard work. But if you did the same work before the time with accuracy to use your logic or intelligence that is smart work.

Hardwork will give experience which smart work won't give you much.
On the other hand, smart work will save much time which hard work won't.
Therefore according to me hard work comes first and then smart work.

Hard work means more efforts but less output whereas smart work means less efforts more output. But in my point of view, though smart work produces more output hard work is too broad our knowledge and concepts.

Smart work is better than hard work because smart is analyse the problem and finding shortcuts to achieve the goal and success. And hard work is doing labour they did not use the brain and will not get success.

Till today from all my past experiences I have learnt that smart work is a tree and hard work is its roots without it cannot stand a chance. A person doesn't wakes up one day and become Dhoni or Warren Buffett.
