Confidence means something that you have inbuild that can make you to go for any challenges and makes to overcome such challenges, mean while overconfidence means it will push you into those challenges.

Confidence is the ability to do something by ourselves with good knowledge.
Overconfidence is the same but they don't have that much knowledge about that also they pretend like they have and others feel like there is no sense in that.
