Confidence meant for the correct knowledge you have and overconfidence means you even don't want to listen the facts and not willing to gain more knowledge about the particular thing, you start thinking that the knowledge you have is sufficient and 100 percent correct without listening anyone or ignoring the facts.

In my opinion, Confidence is a strong belief on your knowledge, strategy, and capability to work hard and make that thing happen. They don't think about other's judgment.
Overconfidence on the other hand no research, no tendency to learn more, and planning and strategizing only based on the current knowledge that they had. They are unable to foresee the challenges. And hence in the end fail to accomplish the goal. They do think about other people and work accordingly.

Sir/mam, there is my example that shows the difference between confidence & overconfident. For example, if I say I am the only one suitable for this job it's my confidence.
If I say I am the only one suitable for this job it's my overconfident.
Confidence shows knowledge & it is task-oriented.

Confidence gives you enough strength to explain yourself- either speak/or write way abilities within yourself.
& Overconfidence proves your disabilities in different ways like not going through without any type of interruption. Every time difficulty came in it way and is unsuccessful in finding out-solution to it.

Yes, I put effort and I take it as seriously and I get it this is belief and confidence.
It's a simple thing no one can do this I am the only one and I only can solve this issue its an overconfidence.

Overconfidence is when a person 'believes' that he/she is right every single time and that there's nothing the others 'need' do, but follow him/her happily.
If the interviewer says something like, "If you can do it, there are hundred others who can do it too. Why should we choose you and not them?".
If you say because I can do it better than others, the interviewer might twist your reply to mean that you are over-confident.
What to say in such situations? Maybe you can say "Because I'm special! You will find it during my work and never regret your choice.

Confidence:- He/she has the confidence to accept the challenges overcoming by their continuous practices. This will result to the good results.
