Confidence means I'm suitable for your job.

Overconfidence means only I'm the person suitable for this job.

There is a very thin line difference between confidence and overconfidence.

When a person has confidence he/she says like yes, I can do anything for this.
But when he/she says like I only can do this, is a showcase of overconfidence.

Which is not good because everyone should keep their confidence in themselves, not on others.

Confidence is get me up in a critical situation but Over confidence is put me down in a easy or considerable situation.

Over confidence kills the confidence because over confidence have too much of ego and selfishness so we lost best persons and best movements in our life.

Sir, I think 'confidence' is when you have a goal, you work hard for that and believe that I can do it.

But when you do nothing for your goal and still believe that I can do it then this is called 'overconfidence'.
