A person stays confident when he's going do something in a particular business and he has already proper knowledge about it.
But when that person hasn't proper knowledge and saying that he will do that work then he is overconfident.

In confidence, there is awareness of self. One has an accurate understanding of one's ability. Whereas in overconfidence, there is a lack of awareness of self where the person exaggerates his ability to execute things.
