Both are related to attitude.

That attitude can be positive or negative.
Positive attitude = confidence.
Negative attitude = overconfidence.

I am sitting here for the interview along with 100's of candidates if I say, I performed well I may get selected means it's confidence rather if I say, I will be the only person going to be selected means it's over confidence.
