The main difference between confidence and overconfidence.

Confidence means I can do this work with my skill and knowledge while overconfidence means that I can only do this work, no one can do this work.

The possibility of success in confidence is 100%. While in overconfidence it is not sure to be a success.

Confidence is built on the practice of one's skills and abilities while being receptive to improvement.

Overestimating one's capacity and disregarding the challenges is what overconfidence is all about.

Confidence is something that makes you believe that you can do a particular thing whereas when overconfidence comes into play it makes you believe that only you can do a particular thing & no one else is capable as you are.

Confidence is a realistic, pragmatic, and honest belief in one's ability to perform a task, rooted in facts and experience.

In contrast, overconfidence is a false, narcissistic, and egotistical belief in one's exaggerated abilities, often detached from reality.
