Confidence is based on focus and knowledge but overconfidence is based on speculation. There is a small difference between confidence and overconfidence. Yes, I can do this work is a self- confidence but only I can do this work is a overconfidence.

I think confidence is human feelings which comes after the internal hardworking about anything which give us strength and motivate us to go toward right path of life.
Overconfidence make us lazy, careless because it only shows us winning trophy not the hardwork required for it. We are alredy sure about winning without doing efforts for it which eventually make us fall from mountain.

Confidence is the belief that you can do it. But In overconfidence, the belief is so much that the person ignores that he can be wrong too.

In my opinion, confidence can take you at higher level.
But overconfidence will bring to ground once a time. If we have overconfidence it will spoils us.

In my opinion, Confidence is like saying ' I think I am a deserving candidate for the job' whereas someone with overconfidence would say something like 'I think I'm the only best candidate available for the job'.

According to me, confidence and overconfidence both are feelings which shows path to future, where one refers to climb the 100th floor through steps, and other refers to jump from ground floor to 100th floor without any materials.
