It's a great question sir,
For this question, I wanna say two lines those are confidence means I can do it. And overconfidence means I can only do this work and overconfidence is very dangerous in everywhere and sometimes it may cheat you.

Confidence is nothing but you compare yourself to others without comparing anyone.
Eg: I can say if all others can do it why not me?
Overconfidence gives negative thoughts in the mind.
Eg: no one can do it except me this is overconfidence.

Confidence always provides us with knowledge and positive wave but overconfidence always messed your work abilities. For example, I can do this work this is confidence and I am only a person who can do this work this is the overconfidence.

Over confidence = A player in a football match thinks that he can score the Goal without the support of his football team.

Confidence means a belief that I have the capability and capacity to do this work like any other competent person, while overconfidence means a belief that it's only me who has the competence and capabilities to do this work and no other.

Confidence is the self-belief that I can do this work as I know my skills but on the other hand, overconfidence is that I only can do this no matter those skills that work requires I have or not I just think that I only can do that work.

Confidence- The believe and faith that comes to a person mind when he has been given a work to do.
Over Confidence-The believe and faith that comes to a person mind that he alone is capable of doing the work and is better than others.

When we put in efforts towards making our goal reality with positive attitude that's called confidence.
But when we don't put in our efforts don't utilise available resources even then dream about success that's called overconfidence.

Confidence is the ability to do something by ourselves with good knowledge.
Overconfidence is the same but they don't have that much knowledge about that also they pretend like they have and others feel like there is no sense in that.
