The difference between confidence and over-confidence is
For example, I am an employee in the company my boss assigned me work and said submit work on time. Then I can do this work and submit given time is confidence.
Only I can do this work and submit given time is overconfidence.
Confidence always gives a positive attitude, Positive thinking and overconfidence give over attitude and negative thinking.

Only I can do this work this is my overconfidence.

When someone says- "I can do this work" that's confidence.
" I trust that I can't go wrong while doing this work" that's over confidence.

Sir, for me there is a fine difference between confidence and overconfidence as I face it practically in my life. Confidence is accompanied to the belief of an individual where the confidence shows a part of the persons ego and lack of self-evaluation.
As for showing the difference with the help of the statement.
"I am sure that I get this job" shows confidence".
"I am super sure that I get this job" shows some overconfidence.
