It's been a great opportunity to meet you and to tell you about my education and experience for the post of Accountant.

I am Anish Thomas, completed my Master of Commerce in 2018 Bachelor of Education in 2022. I did a certification course in Financial Accounting with Tally ERP9 in 2013 and NEBOSH (IGC) Health and Safety in 2016.

I started my career as an Accountant as well as a teacher and my last work experience was also as a Commerce teacher in an ISC-affiliated school in India.

I have achieved efficiency in critical thinking and decision-making in supporting academic and administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters and academic issues. This resulted in optimum productivity and quality in preparing our younger generation for taking individual roles of citizenship.

I want to be more specific in my working experience as an Accountant to a teacher. During my whole experience, whatever I learnt has effectively been used in my lessons to reflect needs in financial accounting. I utilize creative instruction to provide the knowledge and skills needed in understanding the complex world of business and commerce.

As an accountant, I am able to meet with the skills of financial entry and operational data. I have maintained reliable cash flow projections and monitored inventory to keep stock levels and database updated.

I used critical thinking to break down problems in shortage of resources and evaluate solutions for improved processes and systems. I also carried out complex finance projects under the direction of senior management, adhering to deadlines and budget funds. I have been using spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and Tally ERP. 9 for daily, weekly and monthly reports to manage accounts receivable and payable.

I have developed skills of Back Office Operations, Data Entry, Management of Financial Records, and Administrative support using Business Management Principles. I gained the strength of high optimism about given targets and could handle any amount of stress at work.

Additionally, I am honoured to talk about my achievements in Wushu (kickboxing) Championships. I secured Gold Medal and Bronze Medal at State Level and National School Games respectively in the academic year 2011-12.
