Tell me about a situation when your work was criticized.

Constructive criticism helps the individual to hence their hidden potential and also help to increase their personality.

I was new on a project and once I was alone in a shift. Suddenly one of Linux production server got on high load and there were no logs on the server for same. Checked all the logs even tried to check whatever solutions I can but when I have observed then I found that there was an issue with swap memory. One parameter is designed for this swap memory which was wrong on the server. Due to this server was running swap memory than physical memory and then lots of zombie process getting generating.

There was only one way to solve this issue we need to reboot that server. But I was alone and even there was no more access then shell. Finally, I decided to reboot server and fire command to reboot the server. My luck was good, the server comes online without issue and all server become normal. I have update same to client and client was happy with this solutions. From that day server is working fine now.

It seems that criticism can not be wrong because we get the chance to improve our faults so that we never make the same mistake.

I have not been criticised much, but once wrongly in one letter which was to be signed from the senior most person I have wrongly mentioned R&D location as Hyderabad instead of Mumbai.

But that criticism thought me to concentrate more on my work and give my best and never to make such silly mistakes.

I was criticized by my controlling officer and HOD for not wearing helmet thereby violating safety rules while working in plant during shutdown. They warned me about its importance and consequence it may lead to. I accepted and understood and I promised to myself and them that it won't happen again.

I had my work criticized when a yearly evaluation was done stating I failed to do some documentation. I accepted it and turned it around to make me a more mindful person and an excellent staff.

Success and failure keep comes until unless I am not realized what I have done. Because I am not 100% perfect but I can be reached in my goal with full focus without wasting time to think what other think about me.

I was criticized for my selection and it was informed me that it was worst recruitment in my tenure. Because attitude of selected candidate was not good. That criticism I kept in my mind, now recruiting people very carefully.

Criticized always gives strength and positive thinking some times should be criticized then only we can learn more things to do.
