Women empowerment is the root cause of divorce in India. When women in a job they dominate over their husband. Actually, women took a wrong decision about their life and choose the wrong guy in maximum cases. As a result, divorce occur. In love cases, I know many boys who have relationships with many girls. Girls choose mainly those boys who have many affairs but they know how to impress girls. As a result, divorce occurs.

Women empowerment is not a cause for increasing divorce rate in India. There was a time when women were told that marriage is sacred and their ultimate goal was to serve her husband, in-laws and her children. Women were not allowed to dream anything beyond this. They dedicated their entire lives to look after their family. Women had no freedom to complain even if they were subjected to domestic violence or harassment or any other form of violence from in-laws. There was a sense of apprehension among women that being vocal about these things would tarnish their image and they would lose respect for themselves from the society. Also most of the women believed that their husbands were like gods. There is no way her husband could ever do wrong. Many men had clandestine affairs and were involved in infidelity. Many men remarried while still being married to the current wife. A lot of women adjusted their lives according to the needs of their husbands. They respected their husband's wishes even though they didn't like them. Due to lack of education, many women didn't know their rights. Even if women were educated they didn't have the financial independence to look after their children after divorcing their spouses. As a result, many women had to compromise in their marriage.
This has slowly changed over the course of years with women being educated and gaining financial independence. Women can approach the court in case of domestic violence, harassment or any pressure from in-laws regarding dowry for the justice to be served.
But women empowerment is not a cause for increasing divorce rate in India. It is not fair to blame a woman for being educated and living life on her terms.
Divorce rates are high in urban areas. Divorces could happen among the spouses due to 'n' number of reasons-.
- Infidelity (could be a wife or a husband).
-Not a happy marriage.
-Domestic violence.
-Pressure from in-laws regarding dowry.
-Divorce with mutual consent.
-etc, etc, etc.
Even in the urban areas, many believe that a woman's place is confined within the four walls. Many women are asked to give up their professions after marriage to look after their in-laws, husband and children.
A marriage can only sustain if both wife and husband respect each other's wishes and believe that there must be a sense of equality rather than dominating each other.
Thank you!

Good Evening Friends,
According to me, a cause for increasing divorce cases are mainly their relationship will break easily because they are not love each other. And also they are compared to next person's life. They can be feel very lonely or they are feel only selfish. So they are confusing each other and also doubt each other. So the solution is love each other forever.
Thank You.

Women is the main cause for most divorce cases. First is judicial. India judicial supports only women after marriage even though they are bad. They take upper hand by manipulating the law. Second is money and status. Nowadays women don't see whether the boy is a good person or not. After marriage if that boy is bad they go for divorce. Third is caste and religion. It plays important role in women's marriage. They think bringing down a person through divorce is women empowerment even though the boy is a good person. Present generation women are not content with what they have. Increase divorce is not women empowerment. It's women egoistic way of empowerment.

I don't think so. That it can be the reason of increasing divorce rate. Women empowerment means giving rights to women to come front giving them good education by that they can face every challenges. And I think if it can be the cause of divorce so somewhere it is right that women is capable enough to stand and take action.

I think the increased rate of divorce has no connection with women empowerment rather it is results of thoughtless marriages performed out of excitement and attraction rather than mutual understanding. Women empowerment has only strengthened the position of women's in Indian society which was previously male dominating. According to the Indian Constitution, every individual irrespective of its gender has all the rights to enjoy the freedom and should be valued equally. I think women empowerment has boosted equality among Indian society.

Good morning my dear friends today we all are here to make a group discussion on the topic of women empowerment. A cause of increasing divorce rate in India. Well. In my opinion, it is no because women empowerment is something through which women should get all the rights which were given to men equally. Increasing divorce rates in India is not because of a women empowerment, in fact, that's because of the way of the way of thinking of people irrespective of the gender. There are some stereotypes for women that she should be like this and that all nonsense but is there any kind of stereotype for men no!so I just want to conclude that increasing of divorce rate is not because of women empowerment, in fact, this is because of the lack of understanding and compromise. In life, we all have to learn how to compromise for the sake of well being so that these kinds of problems never come.

No, Women empowerment is not a cause of increasing divorce rate. Women empowerment is giving women the equal status as that of man which is a right guaranteed by Indian constitution. i.e; right to equality, encouraging them to come forward so that they can show their capacities and abilities. Divorce happens maybe because of differences between husband and wife or with the family members. There are many married women who now are an epitome of women empowerment and there husbands are proud of them.

Hi guys, this is Surya.
Women empowerment Is not the issue. The main Issue is ego. If our wife is earning more than ourselves then we feel Ashamed and Fight with each other. And nowadays Women is Working in every field and doing great jobs. And I am happy for this But In modern age, Women not want to compromise in any situation that is the main issue for divorce. If we want to live happily we have to be Compromisable. Then No possibly of divorce. That's all.
Thanks for listening me so patiently.

Hello everyone.
In my opinion, even in the 21st century, inequality exists there are so many women who are baring harassment silently from their husbands.
Even though women works 24/7to raise their children and to maintain their family they are not getting enough recognition for house chores and home maintenance as this work is unpaid who choose to be homemakers are not considered as working persons in India due to this their self-esteem tend to below.
The main challenges of the women empowerment are dowry, domestic violence etc.
The needs of the women empowerment are first of all women must have the will to be dependent and to be the best version of themselves thank you.
