Women are not fit for Defense Services

Strength to fight, skills to command to think, to make wise decisions in the battlefield where every second's delay costs a life, these are acquired by years of practice, trainings, experiences they gain. A person is not born a fighter, a soldier, even a man needs to go through rigorous trainings to become a soldier, to fight for nation and so does a woman. Any person man or woman if provided proper training can serve the nation at the battlefields.

Women are always fit for any type of defence services. But one thing that are obstacle in their life is that they are not free like men. If parents are not restrict them.

Then women can do anything. Most of their example like mother teresa, Rani laxmibai, P. T usha.

That are done best of their life. Now a days, in our country women are not free like a men that are wrong. Parents should be freedom for their girls but for doing this thing first of all we have need to change their mentality about the girls.

Hence, the main conclusion behind the women are that they are Surely fit for the Defence services. I think after few year women are more free compared to that days and also put their.

Self in every field like technical, non tech, defence and son on.

A women can do anything and everything if she is willing to do. Today women are not lag behind in any field, and so do the army. But somewhere, something is drastically wrong in the organisational system our country, that women nowadays have to face, sexual harassment, exploitation etc. To move ahead.

I therefore believe that government should allow a bit reservation for women to avoid such obstacles in women's success way.

Hi guys, women should be in defense but not in a fighting zone but as helping one in the way of guidance as their thinking is all around. While even though they are equal to men but emotionally they can't and they can't even help the people around them if others are injured. So I think they should not think to fight for the nation if they fight, the downfall will be not only for them even to our nation also. So, keep that in mind and don't be like a Hollywood heroin. And the given title is somewhat apt.

Women are perfectly fit to join defense services if they are given proper training. There is nothing a human cannot do then why there is discrimination between men and women. Women stand as the symbol of peace like mother theresa and at the same time they can be a symbol of courage like rani lakshmi. We all say that she can't handle the physical pain, people please don't forget the pain that every girl goes by giving birth. Not to forget that we can our nation as mother India. Then why this cheap discrimination between men and women. Women are equally capable to men and are fit in All sectors.

Friends, I too don't agree that women are not fit for defense services. In my view women are behind every successful person as a wife, partner, friend, teacher, etc in every aspects of life. We must need to recall our memory and we will understand the fact. A soldier whether a man or an woman take birth through a woman (mother). So we can't assume that women will be never fit for defense services.

This concept is totally wrong. Today if some women are lacking behind is due to the criticism of society, no support for parents and in our country most of us has a view that women is a made for serving her husband, children, stick to the kitchen, etc. Whereas in foreign a girl is given full freedom. And the crime ratio like rapes, murder, sexual assault is much less than ours one.

I hereby try to summarise my view that we should try to give woman the full power and support and try to engage them in every sector in which men are engaged. Our history and mythology speaks how women took victory overs injustice, crimes, evils, etc. So in special in our India we worship 33 crores god and GODDESSES.

I believe Women are capable for defense services. If given the chance in defense field surely they will prove their mettle.

But basic problem lies in structure of our society where men are on upper tier. Women have to sacrifice their career at every phase of life. There are several hindrance at each level in their career.

> They need parents support to learn SSC and HSC.

> If they are able to get through HSC-SSC, For graduation they need family support and permission. Considering today's condition in India where everyday we hear a Rape news it becomes difficult for family to allow their young girls to go out for education.

> Then comes difficult phase - Marriage; To continue in their career they need husband's and in-laws support to the fullest.

> If at all they succeed in getting through Marriage phase then comes the big one - Motherhood; Now here is a battle between a women and a mother. As usual a women has to sacrifice her career.

So It is clearly wrong to say that a women is unfit for defense career. Let her free from shackles of society and then see her full potential definitely she will be at par from men.

Hi friends my opinion is that women should be in defence services as the role of an army is not only fighting wars and at least in todays world where the probability of the wars is very less. Women in defence can contribute in other factor in handling natural calamities and such incidents.

Hi I read most of the post and got to know that most of them who Faber that women should be enrolled on combat are unpractical. Friends in infantry, artillery and in fighting troops there are certain tactics which are fixed and didn't need of more technique. Most important is physical capability. When you have to carry 15 to 20 kg and endurance in mountain then you will come to know what is infantry. What ever decision are taken by superior and defense minister is correct. Women have certain limit and can do serve only in ordinance and AEC. Be practical guys.

In my point of view womens are fit for defence. We can take any field for example like police force, politics, technology, space where womens prove themselves that they are not behind from men in any field. They faces many problem in family life happily then why they are prohibited from infantry. Everyone know that commanding officer wife commands on the unit more than CO then how we can say that ladies are not able to do command. So we must give an opportunity to the woman's to come forward.
