Hai friends iam venkat. Media makes us aware of various social,political and economical activities happening around the world. It is like a mirror which shows us truth and harsh realities of life. It generating the awareness on various social evils like dowrx,female foeticide and infanticide

Like two sides of a coin everything has its own advantages and disadvantages. Media in today's world does everything it can to improve its popularity, it is looking at an issue with an idea of making money rather than depicting what really has happened. Sensationalism is something that must be checked quickly, media is trying to create unwanted attention to some of the current issues. But still a world without media will be like living in the dark. I would seriously recommend not to have a bad opinion about media because except a few a lot of media individuals are dealing with issues with great sensitivity.

Media is technology. It used to share different information to others. If you open any shop like book center, medical shop you want to publish to others by using media.

I do not understand this all information anybody please what's meaning and practical of mass media.

According to my limited knowledge that Media has been playing significant role in the Indian economy. It has rights to speak and publish the truth but on other hand sometimes media become part of Politician or high influence person base on Money or gift items. Media provides power of energy and rights to common man also where no listen to him but media listen everything and support them.
So in short media is the fourth pillar of the Indian democracy.

Yes, Variation lead to a reputation in oneself trust. So if we hear something with variable meanings, we too will be in conflict about which is right and which is wrong.

The definition of Newspaper is a paper that will increase your knowledge and give information about what is going on in this world, country, or etc.

I remembered the news paper was developed to make people to defeat a cruel British, by making peoples in a light about cruelty. But today, apart from gaining we are losing trust of same peoples, then how they will defeat a issues like Polls, Corruption.

So the news paper should be scrutinized by Govt of India for the purpose of believing oneself trust, and not to rupture the Information contained in the News.

Media has a great impact on our share of mind. It motivates and influence our thoughts and actions. It has much potential to instill evil and bad behaviour as it has to teach humanity and good thoughts. Hence, censorship becomes necessary in today's era. Though our constitution guarantees freedom of speech, it also put restrictions on certain contents to protect unity, integrity and national harmony.

Few examples of censorship are the ban in Salman Rushdie's book "The Satanic Verses", the transsexual movie "Gulabi Aaina". And I believe that this censorship is required given the sensitive society of various communities and religion in which we live.

Media should act as a communicating channel to transmit information which should be truth. Not the information which is beneficial for a particular forum/channel. Their job is to aware people to know about what is happening in the world, but nowadays it is distracting from its job. Ya, in some manner media is performing their well. But others are just making money.

Media is the most powerful tool if people of the nation use it in a right way. Now-a-days there are very few news channels or paper which actually give us news and relevant information. There are some news channel which give us irrelevant news which do not increase our knowledge and they do it just to increase their TRP rate. Same thing is with the news paper. How many of us know about the news channels which give some informative real news. For such cases censor board should step forward and take initiative to stop such things.

Not only this there are some channels which are not at all informative and can deprive the mind of young ones. For them censorship should be used.

According to my view media plays an important role. It is boon of the world. Each and every information up to date and time we can get through media. But some bad things also there some channels which are there they diverting the mindset and habits of the people. Every child is edict to the television for bad things so if these are controlled by higher authorities. Media is good.
